Gateway GT4026E

I am currently running the above software/hardware payload on Gateway PC. With support ending this month for XP I want to upgrade to Win7.
Go here, then navigate to Desktops - GT Series - GT4026e, then wait for the page to fully load.

You will see these operating systems listed:

Windows XP 32-bit/64-bit

Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit

Windows XP 32-bit/64-bit has the drivers for the ATI graphics/chipset, Realtek audio, and Realtek ethernet devices.

Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit does not list any of those drivers.

I'm pretty sure that the install of Windows Vista or Windows 7 will install the drivers for the Realtek devices, but I'm not sure about the ATI devices.

You may need to install a ATI or NVIDIA chip video card that supports Windows Vista or Windows 7.

That desktop supports a maximum of 2 GB of RAM, so don't install Windows Vista 64-bit or Windows 7 64-bit.

Stick with the 32-bit version.
