The act of selecting a group of files using the "Shift and click" is still the same in Windows 7 as it was in the earlier versions. This would only select the files and then one would have to tell the OS what to do with the selected files. I do not know what this "homemade" term is all about. |
I found out by accident just now that you don`t need to use the ribbon menus on Microsoft Office Word 2007 - if I hang on to Shift after I have clicked on the second object, the menu for grouping appears to the right.
Thanks for your interest. We are buying OFFICE Word 2007 for dummies. That should help. Windows 7 for Dummies was the wrong book for using these menus.
