Windows 7 Laptop Crashes on Startup

My laptop crashes whenever it attempts to boot. The Windows logo appears, stalls for about 2 minutes, then blue screens, flashes an error message and instantly shuts off. If I try and boot in safe mode, it freezes after loading "\windows\system32\drivers\CLASSPNP.sys"

Also, when I launch "Startup Repair", it "attempts to fix problems" for almost 2 days before indicating that "the system cannot be repaired"

I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 running Windows 7.

Please help!
