(ATTENTION: to make it clear for those who haven't used ASUS, if you want to boot from something else than HDD only one time, you need to press ESC when booting and choose the thing, and if you want to boot everytime from something else than HDD you have to do it in the bios by pressing f2 to open the bios when booting)

Hello. Today I've got an ASUS notebook with Windows Seven Starter package. The thing is that is lagging a bit and I know everything is going to be okay using Windows XP, so simply, I want to install the windows XP on the notebook.
The problem is that I don't have neither Windows 7 or Windows XP CD, BUT I DO HAVE BOTH WINDOWS XP AND WINDOWS SEVEN IMAGE FILES!

I tried to do this, yet it doesn't work:

1. I've downloaded Win2Flash program.
2. I've formatted my USB flash drive as NTFS and put the install files into the flash drive.
3. I restarted my notebook, pressed ESC several times and chose the option to boot the computer from my flash drive.

4. This pops up (the picture IS NOT MINE, but it's the same):

If I choose the 1st option it simply loads the USB drive. There is one partition with 7.8GB (it's the size of the flash drive) allocated memory, but I can't do nothing. I can't delete it - totally nothing happens if I press D. AND I CAN'T CREATE ANOTHER PARTITION TO INSTALL THE WINDOWS, because there's no space left (??, the HDD is 320 GB).

If I choose the 2nd option, it says hal.dll is not found, blabla, automatic reboot.

And if I choose the 3rd option, I get an error:

And bang, computer freezes.

-----------

By the way, when I try to change the bootable drive in BIOS, I can't choose my flash drive. Does that mean this notebook doesnt support booting from USB? And as this notebook doesn't have optical drive too, it means Im pretty much ****ed up and have to say with Windows7?
