I would recommend you never use registry cleaners as they can do more harm than good.

Please follow this guide to use System Restore Windows 7 System Restore Guide Take it back to before you removed Norton.

If all is then ok, uninstall Norton and follow it by running the uninstall tool from here: Norton Uninstall Tool Then install AVG again.
