Hi, boot to safe mode and under advanced boot settings select "repair your computer" the RE will open, select your language, then the OS to repair (windows) then from the options select command prompt, at the x :sources> prompt type:- (cmd's are in red)

bcdedit | find "osdevice" (Must inc”) (press enter, the | is called a pipe and it is the character above \ on your keyboard)

Now use the returned as the drive letter for your OS, lets assume C: (if not change the c: in these cmds to what the bcdedit cmd returns)

At the x sources type:- chkdsk c:/f (press enter), 3 stages of chkdsk will run.
can take awhile.

Next run sfc/scannow
at the x: sources type:-
sfc/scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows (press enter)
sfc will run can take awhile

Restart your computer.

Let us know how you get on.
