2. It is as you say not really a Windows 7 issue, more a hardware issue, but posting in this forum is not a problem
3. Unfortunately I doubt if anyone can help you in an online situation.
With a loose - unsecure female power socket on the laptop and especially if it was dropped there is just no way forward without one of the following
A. Arrange for the battery to be charged, perhaps a local computer repair shop could assist there and then try it with battery only - that will eliminate the possibility of it being ONLY the power connection
B. If you are technically able, take the laptop partially apart and check the connection of the power socket to the PCB - printed circuit board - solder joints.
Other than that I regret that there is really no further method of helping on an online situation.
